Looking back at an inspiring day of debate and European engagement ! 🇪🇺🇭🇺

On March 21st, took place the National Policy Dialogue, organised by @esnhungary. JEF Hungary was proud to contribute there by organising a dynamic European Parliament simulation 🏛️

Participants stepped into the shoes of MEPs, debating and negotiating key European issues : they debated a proposal on European defence, introduced amendments, and defended the positions of their respective political groups.

The day continued with a panel discussion focusing on youth engagement, the Erasmus+ situation in Hungary, and other key European issues. JEF, represented by @ozunion and @benjamin.s.sinka, contributed to the debate alongside Bálint Koós, Vice President for External Affairs of HÖOK, and Rodrigo Ballester, Ministerial Commissioner for the Internationalisation of Hungarian Higher Education and Research.

Thanks to ESN Hungary for organising this event, and thanks to all participants for showing up and helping promote youth engagement and Europe 🙌

On the 19th of March we had the pleasure of visiting the Embassy of India. 🇮🇳

Our members have met the ambassador personally, and had the chance to discuss various topics with him, including the recently signed India-EU Free Trade Agreement, as well as the relations of India both with the EU and Hungary and the significance of the deal and further cooperation in the current geopolitical climate. 🇪🇺🇭🇺

After the discussions, we have attended the opening ceremony of the Art Exhibition "Faces of Bollywood", where we were greeted with Indian delicacies and visited the exhibition afterwards. 🍽 🎨
