Members of JEF-Hungary

Patrik Miklós György

International Officer, EU Fridays Editor in Chief

Hello! My name is Patrik György, and I am the International Officer at JEF. I am currently studying political science and law at the University of Zürich. I joined JEF, because it gives me an opportunity to advocate for a more integrated and collaborative European community, by reaching out and informing the general population.

Márton Budai

International Officer

My name is Márton Budai. I'm studying international relations MA at the Corvinus University of Budapest. I graduated at the same university with European Integration specialization.

Réka Heszterényi

Secretary General

Hey there, my name is Réka Heszterényi. I spent most of my life in Budapest and completed a degree in International Relations. Now I am living the European dream: I finished a Schuman traineeship in Brussels, then moved to Florence, and finally landed a job at the European Youth Centre in Strasbourg. I joined JEF because I believe that young people should have an active role in shaping the future of (a Federal) Europe 🇪🇺🌟

Balázs Sean Brandt

President

Hi Friends! My name is Balázs Sean Brandt, I am closing the line of introductions as the President of JEF Hungary. I was in high school when I first came across the idea of a federal Europe, and ever since, I am a great fan. I graduated in 2021 from the College of Europe with an MA in EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies, and I am since living a double life in Budapest and Brussels. Since 2020, I and the team are working towards bringing the EU closer to young Hungarians through dialogue, presentations, and panel discussions. And honestly, I am so happy and honored to lead such an enthusiastic and motivated team. If you feel like our vision and message are close to you, feel free to reach out to us on how you could contribute to our campaign 😃🇪🇺

Kristóf Forrai

Vice President for Internal Affairs

Hi everyone! My name is Kristof Forrai, the Internal Affairs Vice President here at JEF Hungary. I am currently in my last year of undergraduate studies in International Politics in London. JEF gave me the opportunity to learn more about the EU and its significance in my everyday life, which I am forever grateful for. I joined JEF to bring the EU closer to the youth through various events and facilitate a conversation on actual issues, opportunities, and concerns. If you want to learn more about our organisation and the EU, or feel like we could use your knowledge, do not hesitate to reach out to us!

Fanni Anna Spitzmüller

Operations Team Coordinator

My name is Fanni Anna Spitzmüller, and I am the Operations Team Coordinator of JEF Hungary. I joined the Young European Federalist movement because I believe in an integrated and dialogue-based Europe, and I want to educate the youth of Hungary about the possibilities the EU can provide for them. I am currently the project manager for the Check’Europe project in collaboration with Erasmus+ and many other organizations from around Europe, which means to bring awareness of disinformation and fake news to European citizens, through a series of events and programs over the course of 4 years.
